Dr. Ji Son is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon with specialized fellowship training in hand and microsurgery.

She began her career as an aerospace and mechanical engineer with Boeing and NASA, where exposure to human physiology inspired her transition to medicine. Dr. Son chose plastic surgery for its unique integration of art, function, and aesthetics—whether performing a tummy tuck after weight loss or complex reconstructions—and pursued additional hand surgery training to restore critical function and improve patients’ quality of life.
