Ghada Afifi, MD

Dr. Ghada Y. Afifi is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon in Newport Beach and Santa Ana who was inspired at age 12 by a documentary on international reconstructive missions. She completed an accelerated program, graduated college Summa Cum Laude, earned her MD at 23, and finished 12 years of training including General Surgery at Yale, Plastic Surgery at University of Pennsylvania, and Craniofacial Surgery at Loma Linda. She serves as Clinical Assistant Professor at Loma Linda and volunteers with Operation Good Samaritan and Rotaplast International for cleft and facial reconstructions in underdeveloped countries. She has spoken at international conferences, published research and medical art, and served as Chair of the Hoag Plastic Surgery Department for two years. Her practice focuses on cosmetic and reconstructive procedures to help patients achieve self-improvement goals.
