Most Plastic Surgeons would like Celebrity and V.I.P. Patients in their practices. Many of these are wonderful, relatively normal, non-problematic, and very grateful patients. However, many of these patients can be extremely difficult to manage preoperatively and postoperatively by both the Plastic Surgeon and their staff.
Dr. Steven Hoefflin will present information on attracting these patients, pointers on confidentiality, managing unusual demands and behavior, the problems in enforcing important standard pre- and post-op policies, management of entourages, aliases, house calls and night calls, intimidation, unwanted publicity, risks and managing complications, finances, and dealing with colleagues
